Las lecciones más valiosas de la historia son aquellas que nos ayudan a aprender de los errores del pasado y garantizar un mundo mejor y más justo en el futuro. Es especialmente importante que las generaciones más jóvenes sientan la responsabilidad y el optimismo de quienes, habiendo aprendido de lo ocurrido, pueden hacer todo mejor a través de sus obras. Nuestro tributo es recuperar los intentos de los rescatadores de inculcar optimismo en un futuro común e inspirar valores ligados a la hermandad, armonía y solidaridad con especial atención en las nuevas generaciones.
El logro funcional más importante de nuestra propuesta es incorporar un anfiteatro que puede albergar solemnes celebraciones, reuniendo en una plataforma circular inclinada más de 200 personas sentadas y 300 de pie. No diseñamos un monumento, sino una plataforma para la reunión de los ciudadanos, un contenedor para celebraciones que entiende la historia como un fenómeno vivo que tiene que actualizarse continuamente. El anfiteatro acogerá reuniones, actuaciones, encuentros, eventos religiosos o espectáculos de diferentes tipos y da un motivo a los ciudadanos para volver incluso si ya han estado.
Además de la rampa circular que invita a sentarse y asegura la visibilidad, los elementos más visibles y representativos de la propuesta son los cientos de globos y asientos giratorios que limitan la plaza. Los globos albergan luces en su interior, equipamiento digital que garantiza la señal wi-fi en el interior de la plataforma y permiten transmitir el sonido desde el escenario a la silla digitalmente, minimizando el impacto del ruido de los eventos que tienen lugar. Cada asiento es, en realidad, un pequeño columpio para dos. Mientras observa el espectáculo, la congregación se balancea de dos en dos, sin notar sus movimientos, sus aspectos y probablemente su experiencia de los eventos presenciados. Cada asiento parece estar sujeto por dos globos entrelazados: dos cuerpos flotando juntos y cuya elevación y movimientos dependen el uno del otro.
No realizamos una propuesta figurativa: en nuestro diseño no hay judíos, nazis o palomas. Intentamos que la forma y los componentes generen vínculos con el público al que nos dirigimos y los valores con los que los identificamos. Los globos y columpios intentan crear un paisaje atractivo a las nuevas generaciones y están universalmente unidos con los valores festivos, familiares y de celebración. La rampa circular y el pavimento del perímetro interno hablan sobre los símbolos de la alianza y recuerdan a la iconografía judía de una forma abstracta y abierta que proporciona a la gente los elementos necesarios para imaginar.
Cuando no hay programados eventos específicos, nuestra propuesta es parte del parque existente y funciona como una plaza verde bien equipada. Los asientos giratorios proporcionan lugares de descanso y los globos aportan una buena señal wi-fi. La rampa circular será muy atractiva para aquellos que practican footing, ciclismo o skateboard. Además, proponemos la incorporación de una pequeña selección de libros o eBooks sobre la historia judía y polaca, accesibles desde los asientos. También habilitamos una estantería para su almacenaje.

The most valuable lessons of history are those that help us learn from past mistakes and ensure a better and fairer world in the future. It is especially important that younger generations feel the responsibility and optimism from who, having learned of what happened, can make everything better through their works. Our tribute to the rescue the rescuers’ tries to instill optimism in a common future and inspire values linked to the brotherhood, harmony and solidarity with particular attention to the younger generation.
The most important functional achievement of our proposal is to incorporate an amphitheater that can hold solemn celebrations, gathering in a tilted circular stands over 200 people seated and 300 standing. We do not design a monument, but a platform for the assembly of citizens, a holder for celebrating events which understands the story as a living phenomenon and that has to be updated continuously. The amphitheater will allow meetings, performances, gatherings, religious events or shows of different types and give a reason to the citizens to return even if they have already been.
Besides the circular ramp that leads to the sitting positions and ensures visibility, the most visible and representative elements of the proposal are hundreds of balloons and seat / swings that limit the plaza. Balloons shelter lights inside, digital equipment which guarantee wi fi signal in the inner area of the stands and allows the transfer of the sound from the stage to the chair digitally minimizing the noise impact of the events taking place. Each seat is actually a small swing for two. While watching the show, the congregation swing two by two and without noticing their movements, their looks and probably their experience of the events witnessed. Each seat seems to be supported by two interlaced balloons: two floating bodies together and whose rise and movement depends from each other.
We do not do a figurative proposal: in our designs there is no Jews, nazis or pigeons. We tried that the shape and components generate links with the audience we target and the values which we identify with. Balloons and swings are trying to create an attractive landscape to new generations and are linked universally with festive, familiar and celebratory values. The circular ramp and the reasons the internal perimeter pavement talk about symbols of alliance and remember Jewish iconography in an abstract and open way that leaves people the needed objects to imagine.
When no specific events are scheduled, our proposal is part of the existing park and runs like a well equipped green square. Seat-swings provide resting places and the balloons provide good wi fi signal. The circular ramp will be very attractive to those who practice jogging, biking or skateboarding. Additionally we propose the incorporation of a small selection of books or eBooks of Jewish and Polish history or that can be accessed from the seats. Also we enable a shelf for its storage
