Who we are?

We are a group of architects, led by Izaskun Chinchilla, gathering for each project a specific interdisciplinary team with frequent collaborators in areas such as: sociology and citizen participation, energy evaluation and certification, landscaping, product design, marketing and institutional communication, graphic design, circular economy, art curation, or placemaking among others.
We are a flexible, friendly and efficient team that prides itself on knowing and adapting to the needs of varied clients and with abundant experience in the comprehensive management of projects and exhibitions with tight schedules.

Our principles

Our work is committed to improve the environmental performance of architecture, public space, installations, art and the cultural products we work in, through innovation. We believe that the way artist and designers do things matters and influence the penetration of green principles in society.

Public Engagement and social participation are fundamental to us. Our professional approach seek to network society offering people to work together in its construction, to take communal decision with its movement, use or location and to share experiences and knowledge around them.

The reflection on public space and the collective construction of the city has been crucial to our work. In 2020 Izaskun published “La Ciudad de los Cuidados” translated by Actar as “The Caring City” in 2022, a reference book on designing public spaces and facilities that prioritize user well-being

We think women has had a distinctive cultural role in the production of crafting, art and design along the world over history. In our projects we try to investigate and promote female cultural products, done as both individuals or collectively showing how they can bring new innovative uses for the future.

Senior Dr. Architect with 22 years of experience, specializing in designing projects and supervising onsite construction for various types and scales of architecture. Her work has been widely awarded internationally.

Her thesis, “The Structure of the Ecological Crisis in Architecture”, is a notable text in the field of design innovation for increasing sustainability in the building industry.
